Queen Anne Irish Silver Salver, shaped circular, the centre engraved with coat-of-arms, motto and crest, with moulded border and applied shell and scroll rim, raised on three foliate hoof feet. Hallmarked in Dublin. Maker Thomas Bolton. 1708. Wt: 364grams { 3.75cm H X 22.2cm Dia }. Thomas Bolton was the first Lord Mayor of Dublin and his contribution to the city of Dublin was considered so significant that Bolton Street, on the north side of Dublin�s Liffey river was named after him.
